Ferries, a mule path and one train: how to see the whole lake from the villa without ever driving.
The lake was made for boats. The ferry landing is two minutes from our gate, and Varenna’s station has trains from Milan every hour.
A day ticket for the central lake takes you to Bellagio, Menaggio and Tremezzo as often as you like.
